Last night, Governor Dayton delivered his State of the State address, outlining his proposals to build a better Minnesota. It was my honor to join a few of my colleagues to escort the Governor to the House chamber.
It was great to hear from Governor Dayton tonight and hear his positive vision for how we move forward. We know the status quo of deep cuts to the middle class and borrowing from our schools isn’t working, and we need to work together to set Minnesota up for a better future. I’m pleased the governor spoke about education. A good education is the surest way to a stronger economy and a stronger middle class.
I’m hopeful that with the governor’s leadership and cooperative, bipartisan work in the legislature, we can move forward and build a stronger state.
